Civil War

My goal for The Civil War is to give my students a comprehensive overview of the war that divided a country. The American Civil War did not destroy our country it made it stronger. Through my three week curriculum I will give students historical accounts of major battles and introduce them to the key players. Not only will I tell the story and try to re- create history but I will trace the steps back and illustrate the climate of our country. I will also illustrate and show the technological advances and inventions that were made during the Civil War that are relevant and used today in modern warfare and even in our kitchens.
